Online Movies

Thanks in part to online movies, there has never been a better time to be a movie fan. The availability of movies is the greatest it's ever been-and it will only get better. In the past you were limited to what was showing at the local movie theater or what was available to rent at the video store. Selection was usually reduced to new release titles and a few, often generic, older titles. A fan of classic movies, for example, would have to rely on the charity of cable TV, art house theaters, or the video library of a friend to see great films.

This is no longer the case. A subscription to Blockbuster Online or Netflix provides access to an enormous library of movies. Titles include new releases, old genre films, cult-favorite B movies, and foreign films. Nearly anything you want to watch--all without needing to leave your house except to open your mailbox.

And increasingly, you don't even have to travel to the mailbox to see movies. Thanks to broadband Internet connections, increased storage capacity and greater multimedia capabilities, companies are now offering online movies that you can download straight to your computer. Selection is limited at this time, but it's easy to envision a day when you be able to watch online movies at any time of day or night.
