Eclipse picks up where New Moon left off, not too far from Bella's high school graduation. Bella has missed Edward since he left her standing in the woods after explaining that they could not be together. While Edward was gone, she explored her relationship with Jacob Black, developing a deeper friendship and possibly more with him.
The time that passes in Eclipse is mentally strenuous for Bella. In Eclipse the movie, she will be forced to choose between the two men, vampire Edward and werewolf Jacob. In the midst of her romantic turmoil, Bella also has to worry about the vengeful vampire, Victoria, who is seeking her revenge for the death of her boyfriend, James. Finally, there is one other concern: Whether to become immortal. Becoming a vampire could put a definite end to her friendship with Jacob, but give her the life with Edward she's wanted since they became a couple.

For those who haven't read the book or those who have but are having a hard time keeping all of the information straight, here are a few Eclipse facts:

- Bella wants Edward and Jacob to get along for her sake, but they still detest each other because of the vampire/werewolf history.

The Cast and Crew
The Twilight Saga, which includes Eclipse, was written by Stephenie Meyer, with Melissa Rosenberg adapting the screenplays. There is a rumor, however, that Summit Entertainment cut the editor, Art Jones, from the project during filming. Nancy Richardson, responsible for the editing of Twilight ,is back on the team in Jones' place. According to Entertainment Weekly, Richardson has a way of balancing the characters' emotions, the action, and more within films.
