The Serendipity movie cast is lead by veteran actor John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale.
About Serendipity
This romantic film features the two main characters, Jonathan and Sara, who meet in New York while shopping in Bloomingdales. The two strangers end up bumping into each other a few times and believing it's fate, they decide to spend the evening out together. At the end of their date, Jonathan asks for Sara's number. Sara decides to leave the whole thing up to fate and writes her name and number on the inside of the book "Love in a Time of Cholera'' and he writes his on a five dollar bill. Sara believes that since fate brought them together this time, if they were meant to be together, fate would do it again. In the end, after a few trials and tribulations, the two end up finding each other again.

Even though Serendipity was well cast and had a traditional, if not predictable romance film story line of love and fate, the film was not a break out hit. With a budge of $28 million, it has only grossed about $80 million worldwide.

John Cusack
John Cusack is an amazing actor with many, many fantastic films under his belt such as:

Though Beckinsale completed 11 films before her leading role as Sara Thomas in Serendipity, Hollywood really began taking notice of this British actress in 2001's blockbuster film Pearl Harbor. Beckinsale later went on to star in the Underworld film series as the lead actor Selene. Other films to Beckinsale's credit include:

Jeremy Piven

John Corbett
In Serendipity, John Corbett plays the role of would-be groom to Sara, Lars Hammond. You may remember Corbett from the 1990's series Northern Exposure and more recently as Carrie Bradshaw's former fiancée Aidan. Corbett is part of the all-star cast of the film I Hate Valentine's Day and is playing the role of Bob Quimby in Ramona and Beezus, a film adaptation of the popular Ramona Quimby children's book series.
Bridget Moynahan
Actress and model Bridget Moynahan plays the role of Halley Buchanan, Jonathan Trager's (Cusack) fiancée. Though they both star in this film as the eventually dumped love interests, Serendipity isn't the first time Bridge Moynahan and John Corbett have worked together. Take a look:
- Sex and the City - Moynahan was married to Mr. Big while Corbett was engaged to Carrie Bradshaw.
- Ramona and Beezus - Bridget is set to star as Dorothy Quimby alongside Corbett's Bob Quimby.

Molly Shannon
This Saturday Night Live alum plays the supporting role of Eve to Kate Beckinsale's character. Interestingly enough, Molly also guest starred in a few episodes of Sex and the City.

Veteran actor Eugene Levy plays the supporting role of the Bloomingdale salesman. Though many may know Levy best for his role in American Pie, this actor has been doing movies since 1971.
