If you want to watch Valentine's Day, then looking for a place to buy the DVD is probably your best bet. You could also download it from a website such as iTunes.com or purchase the Blu-Ray copy of the film. Blu-Ray discs and players will play movies in a much higher quality than a normal DVD player will, though they are a bit more expensive, giving you more of a theater-style experience.

Gary Marshall has announced that a sequel for Valentine's Day, called New Year's Eve, would be released in December of 2011. The film is going to bring back several of the original film's stars as well as a few new actors and actresses, and is going to center around the events on December 31st and January 1st. The sequel is going to be set in New York City.
